Change Assigned Technician
Because technicians have the ability to accept or reject pending assignments in MC Express, schedulers or dispatchers may often change an assigned technician in response to an assignment being rejected. For these situations, schedulers can quickly and efficiently re-assign the work order to another technician.
If the technician rejects an assignment, dispatchers/schedulers can be immediately notified via the Work Order Assignment (Rejection) event in the Rules Manager. Administrators can configure this rule event, or create multiple rules tied to this event, as needed to make sure schedulers are able to quickly re-assign the work order to another technician. Administrators should refer to the Rules Manager documentation for more information on using this tool.
There is also a smart report listing all rejected assignments. From this report, administrators can see all assignments that need to be re-assigned, and can set up the smart report to open the associated work order record in the Main Application (MRO) directly from the report.
